Be a part of ASOPA's 33rd Annual Meeting, to be held August 5 - 8, 2009 at the Marriott Memphis Downtown and Memphis Cook Convention Center in Memphis, TN. There will be four days of informative sessions (plenary and hands-on breakout) that will provide you with educational and networking opportunities needed for continued professional development as an allied health care provider in orthopaedics.
We hope you will plan join the us and the National Association of Orthopaedic Technologists (NAOT) for the second Annual Joint Meeting. The last joint meeting attracted over 425 attendees from throughout North America and abroad to Minneapolis for four days of top-level educational programming.

The official hotel for ASOPA/NAOT 2009 is the Marriott Memphis Downtown.
SPECIAL NOTE: As of July 15 rooms are no longer available at the group rate at ASOPA/NAOT’s host hotel, the Memphis Marriott.
ASOPA/NAOT has set up overflow accommodations with the Crowne Plaza Downtown (across from the Memphis Marriott). To make reservations, please call (800) 2-CROWNE and indicate you are with the ASOPA/NAOT 2009 meeting to receive a discounted rate or click here to make your reservations online.
MEETING LOCATION
All ASOPA/NAOT 2009 meeting activities will be held in the Memphis Cook Convention Center, attached to the Marriott. Registration will be located on the second floor of the Memphis Cook Convention Center in the Grand Ballroom Foyer beginning Wednesday, August 5 at 7:00 am.
AIR TRAVEL AND AIRPORT TO HOTEL TRANSPORTATION
The Memphis Marriott Downtown is located 13 miles from Memphis International Airport. Taxi fares from the airport to the hotel are approximately $25.00 one-way.
CME/CEU HOURS & CREDITS
The educational sessions at the 2009 annual meeting have been approved by the following certification agencies for continuing education credits:
-National Board for Certification of Orthopaedic Physician’s Assistants (NBCOPA) - 26.5 hours
-National Board for Certification of Orthopaedic Technologists (NBCOT) - 26.5 hours
-National Surgical Assistant Association (NSAA) - 26.5 hours
--Board of Certification (BOC) National Athletic Trainers Association - 17.61 hours

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS
If you find it necessary to cancel your reservations, you must notify ASOPA/NAOT in writing by July 1, 2009. A $50 processing fee will apply. No refunds will be made for cancellations after July 1 or for no shows. Substitutions are permitted.
